Question
I live in Fl. and have been draining my washing machine water out my back door verses the septic tank, the grass is beautiful. I wanted to know if this is good and could I but some dry power on my front lawn? You talked about sugar but I am afraid of the ants it would attract. Thank you!

It's not the soap, but the added water that's greening things up. Adding granules to your lawn would not have any benefit, and could potentially cause real problems.

I've never recommended sugar, and I've been one of the leading voices against it, so you've got no worries there.
