We have this great landscape started but the moss just will not spread as quickly as we would like it to. Is there a way to help this further along. It is absolutely beautiful on our law. if looks and feels like carpet. Thanks in advance.

Yours is an unusual question and I can only provide some general comments. My experience is limited to the 'artillery fern' Pilea microphylla in the greenhouse. This Link has some useful information.
Shade is the essential condition for moss to spread. Mosses do not have roots as we know them; so they rely on humidity for their moisture needs. Very light watering - frequently - will be better than the traditional lawn watering program.
