Question
I have just put drainage into my back lawn,I have replaced the grass sods back onto the lawn where the drainage pipes are,but it looks prity scared, what do I do to repair the scares,what materials will I neeed?

I was educated in a British Colony and I was taught the language by the English themselves. But I cannot discern your meaning of the words scared   & scares   in your question. Maybe there is an additional meaning of these words in the UK
I think that you might mean scarred   & scars  . Even so, I cannot form a mental picture of the problem.
 Perhaps if you would care to explain a bit more...
