Question
Hello, I had new bushes planted last summer and around them the landscaper put wood chips.  This spring, the chips look dull.  I also noticed that the chips have shifted over the hard winter we had in Western Michigan.  Do I need to put new chips down or should I just rake the wayward chips back up around the bushes?  How often should brand new chips be spread?  Thank you very much!

ok, woodchips can shift and will need putting back into position because the birds and nature moves them. Just rake them back into place and add new ones every autumn
