What type of grass is better for shade? Please advise. Thanks.

Hello,

First on the list would be fescue. This is a very shade tolerant and hardy grass. Also,there are plants that highly resemble grass such as liriope ("monkey grass") and the mondo grasses. Shade tolerant ground covers would include pachysandra and periwinkle. Good luck.
