I tried using the Sierra Home series but it is way out of date and sometimes difficult to use.I am also getting ready to buy more software.I use it when I do new homes but have not done brand new from scratch in several years because I have been renovating an older home's cottage garden for almost 3 years now.But I LOVE starting from scratch.Hope these sights will help you.Amazon.com also has many titles for landscape software.
