Question
I bought a home and have no idea where the shut-off valve is to my sprinkler system. I have looked hard between main & house, but no luck. Any ideas on how to locate it or where it could be?

Sometimes they have been installed near the irrigation valves.  Look for a gate valve or something like that in the vicinity of the valves.  You may also try using a small probe and poke around in the yard.  Look for slight depressions in the lawn area, isolated flat spots and such.
