Question
Doing some landscaping in the back yard. I (gardener) broke off a 3/4 sch 40 pipe inside of a T. This would be very difficult to cut out because of boarder and being surrounded by other pipes. What I need to do is to plug the pipe still broke off inside the 3/4 inch T. No one seems to sell a plug that goes into the pipe. They seem to sell them that go into the connections. I want to plug the T and reroute the line around the T and reconnect to the other lines. Can I fill it with epoxy putty?

It probably wont hold.  I have tried it in the past and it never holds for long.  You could try one of those rubber expanding plugs, but I would not trust it to hold for a long time either.  Your best bet is to bite the bullet, and dig it up and make the repair.
