Gas Pump and irrigation system using lake water

Question
We live on a Corps of Engineers lake and can irrigate the lawn using lake water as long as the system is portable.
We can transport a gas pump to the shore via wagon with a maximum lift of 20 feet, electric is to far to run.   The yard is 400' by 300'.   Rise is about 25 feet.   What do you suggest for a pump, portable hose and moving sprinklers?

thanks

Answer
You need to pick your pump first, so you can gauge the rest of the system to its capacity.  Get a good quality pump that will run a couple of hours on a tank of gas.  And make sure it is portable.  Then you can determine the sprinklers you want to use.  Since you are irrigating almost three acres, you will need something that will cover a lot of area, yet be easy to move around.  There is a company called Summit Supply that has such sprinklers and hoses.  Look them up on the web.
