Toro Greenkeeper 212 wont run

Question
I have a Toro Greenkeeper 212, that won't start.  There is a water drop symbol with a line through it on the display.   When I turned it on for the first time this season it started running for a few seconds then stopped and now it won't start again.   I try starting it manually and nothing happens.

Answer
Hello Laura, I hope this helps. You probably have one of two things that could be going on. The first thing could be the controller itself. If you have a volt/ohm meter, you could turn a station on manually, say station # one, and with the meter, touch your negative lead to the terminal in the back of the clock that says C (common) and your positive lead to the terminal that is marked 1. The voltage should be between 22 to 26 volts. If you are not getting a reading, than I would suggest replacing the controller. If you are getting a reading, than you need to find the automatic valve, and either rebuild it or replace it. Good luck and have a great day.
