Lawn irrigation with well

Question
I share a well with our neighbors.  The well is set to come on at 30lbs and off at 60lbs.  Our neighbors run one impact sprinkler at a time but this turns the pump on and off and on and off.

I'm wanting underground irrigation for our lawn but need to know how to calculate the system so that when the pump comes on, it stays on until the irrigation timer is done.  I plan on watering early, about 4 or 5 am and my neighbors water from 11AM to 8PM (I know it's stupid but they are hard enough to get along with now so I'm not saying anything to them).

Until the irrigation system is set up I'm using hoses with different sprinklers and could use any calculations to help me run my sprinklers without having the pump come on and off.

Thanks.

Answer
Hey James, what I would suggest is to have a cistern installed that you can store water in, and then install a sprinkler pump to draw water from your cistern. I would suggest a cistern of at least 2000 gallons. Not knowing how large of an area you want to water, it is a little hard for me to tell you exactly how to set it up. Any controller you install will have a pump start relay, that will only turn your pump (sprinkler pump) on only when the sprinler system is running. Let me know how big of an area you are talking about, and I can give you a better idea on how to set it up. Good luck and have a great day.
