water timer

i have a imperial 10 stationn water timer and lately  every time it goes on and then off you need to push the reset button in for it to go on the next time ? any suggestions?before i look to replace? I dont even know who to call to fix such a thing?

Answer
Hey Ron, it could be a problem with one of the valves out in the field that is shorting out the controller and tripping the reset button. Turn on valve on at a time, and listen for the reset button to trip, if it hits a certain valve # and trips, then the solenoid on this valve is probably bad, and needs to be replaced. Any lawn sprinkling installation company should have repair people that could come out to repair your system. Good luck and have a great day.
