I have a irritrol mc 6 timer and the screen says error 2 and unable to get it to do anything else do I need a new timer

Hey Greg, err 2 is an internal problem in the controller itself, probably in the hardware. Disconnect the power first for about 5 minutes, then hook the power back up. If it still is not working properly, then you need to either have it repaired, or replaced. Good luck and have a great day.
