rainbird Esp modular controller

Question
the unit goes through it's program and automatically recycles. Second problem, I cannot turn off seasonal adjust.
HELP.

Answer
Hey Randy, if the controller is cycling a second time, then more than likely you have a second start time programmed in. Lets say you only want the program to run once a 7:00am and you have 3 zone programmed in( zone 1,2 and 3 for 10 minutes each). Set the first start time for 7:00am and the program will run zone one for 10 minutes ,then zone 2 for 10 minutes, and then zone 3 for 110 minutes and then shut off. Lets say you put start time #1 in for 7:00 am and then you have a start time #2 set for 7:15 am, then after it runs the 3 zones for 10 minutes each(30 minutes) its going to see a second start time and run the same program again. Make sure you have only one start time programmed in, and also check the other programs B and C and make sure you don't have something programmed in these programs that would run something at the same time. As far as the seasonal adjust goes, put the dial on seasonal adjust and hit the up or down arrow and see if it will adjust for you, if it doesn't, then the microprocessor might be shot. The other solution, would be to set the run times either higher or lower depending on how the seasonal adjust is set. For example, lets say you have zone #1 set for 10 minutes, but the seasonal adjust is locked at 120%, this means the zone will actually run for 12 minutes. If you want it to run closer to 10 minutes, set it to 8 minutes and this means it will run for 9.6 minutes (8x1.2=9.6). It's not exactly 10 minutes, but it is close enough. Good luck and have a great day.
