Question
I am living in Tamil Nadu India, but I am from Canada. We crave lettuce and broccoli but cannot find it here. Do you know how to grow these veggies in a hot climate? I have grown beautiful broccoli plants with no heads, and the lettuce us sparce and it was very bitter in the hot months and is now much better tasting. I would like to try romaine lettuce - is it possible to grow it in pots?

I don't know much about the climate in which you are attempting to garden, but I do have lettuce, spinach and greens growing in pots and doing well.  I think romaine lettuce may have a deeper root system than leaf lettuce, but so far all of the greens I've planted are growing well, in their pots.
