Yellow squash dying on the vine

Question
I was away for three days and when I came back, my yellow summer squash is in very badshape.  The leaves are turning brown (spotted) and withering.  The young suuash have brown spots on them (getting bigger).  My cucumber vines (next to the squash) are also getting brown spots and witheriong, but the young cucumbers look okay.  Should I pick the cucumbers soon.  Also my zucchini next to the cucumbers seem to be okay for now.

Answer
Joanne:

Normally the spots represent a fungus. It seems like it has also spread to your cucumbers.

Buy a general purpose fungicide and spray.

Fertilize the plants and water in good.

Please let me know what your results are.

Best wishes.
