Hello,
I recently read your post re: carnation balls as centerpieces. How many carnations would you estimate are needed for an 8" sphere of oasis? Also - do you cover the entire ball in carnations, then adhere it to the vase? Would the arrangements keep for 1-2 days prior to the wedding if kept cool and hydrated?

Good Morning!  You'll need between 20 and 36 carnations per 8" sphere depending on the size of the bloom.  If the vase is opaque, you don't have to cover the piece that will recess into the opening.  And yes, will keep for a day or two.  Mist them and keep them cool.  Good luck!
