Calla lillys in eiffel tower vase?

Question
hi how many  black pearl & white calla lilly's do you think will be able to fit into a Eiffel tower vase. Here are the measurements:  24 in high the top diameter measures 2-1/8". The base measures 4-1/4" square. The top opening measures 1-3/4" diameter. Thank you!

Answer
Good question!

Eiffel Tower style vases are intended for dramatic display and Callas are perfect for that.

Given the diameter of the opening, I would suggestion you keep it to one single calla.  To go for volume will compromise the style of the vase as well as "clutter" the dramatic aesthetic.

You could, ostensibly, fit two flower stems but a main rule in design is that you work in odd numbers.

The possible exception is if you were to put one white and one black in each and stagger the heights so one was at least 6" taller than the other.  I would add one leaf (perhaps a sleek thai leaf) to add the third element.

Hope this helps!
