eiffel tower flower centerpiece arrangement

QUESTION: For my son's wedding reception, we'd like to use real flowers placed in 24 inch tall eiffel tower vases.  The bases of the vases vary slightly, measuring from 3.75" to 4" in diameter; and the tops of the vases measure 2 inches in diameter with openings that measure 1 3/8 inches wide.  We'd like the floral arrangements to be full with a slight draping effect(similar to the picture that I have attached), rather than sparse.  Will eiffel tower vases with the measurements I have provided hold a full arrangement?  If the 1 3/8" opening will not allow for a full arrangement, then please tell me how large the opening should be and from where I can purchase 24 inch tall eiffel tower vases with larger openings.  I've looked on just about every website on the internet!  I anxiously await your response!  Time is of the essence!  Thank you.

ANSWER: Thanks for your question!  Most Eiffel Tower vase arrangements are used with an Oasis bouquet holder or some other Oasis holder.  This is simply because the openings of the vases leave very little to work with ...   with the additional holders, the designer has more control over where and how the shape of the arrangement is to be.  The Eiffel case pretty much just adds elegance ( my opinion ) to the overall effect.  The greens that slightly point to the bottom is only to cover the mechanics.  I hope that this helps - please email me if you need further assistance.  :-)

QUESTION: Thanks for such a quick response to my question!  So let me make sure that I understand correctly - are you saying that the 24 inch eiffel tower vase with a 1 1/4" opening will be able to handle a full arrangement, using the bouquet holder and should not be too top heavy and tip over.  I'm just so afraid that it will tip over.  (FYI- I will have a professional florist doing the arrangements).  Again, anxiously awaiting your response!  Thank you.

Answer
To help alleviate the potential of tipping over - florists add water to the vases - I color my water to add further effect.  Other suggestions is to add colored aqua beads, small marbles, or colored sand.  If you look closely at the picture you sent, I believe that there is clear water in the vase to help steady it.

Glad to be of assistance.  Good Luck!  :-)
