Once again, Urban Roots is carrying living Christmas Trees.  We have 9 varieties available now, including Norway Spruce, White Spruce, Serbian Spruce, Colorado Blue Spruce, Frasier Fir, Canaan Fir, Balsam Fir, Concolor Fir, and Douglas Fir.

These trees are 4 feet tall and potted in biodegradable pots made of recycled material.  They can be brought into the house for up to a week for the holiday celebration, and then planted outdoors to grow to full-size and a ripe old age.  If you do not have a place to plant such a tree in your own yard, once again this year we have arranged a donation program for these trees.  You can bring your tree back to Urban Roots after the holidays, and arrange for it to be given to Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo, Buffalo Riverkeeper, or the Olmstead Parks Conservancy to be planted by them for the beautification of our city.

To help you get started on your preparations for the holiday season, we also have

• Incense Cedar or mixed cut greens in bunches
• Poinsettias in 4 sizes, lots of red and novelty colors, too
• Paperwhite and Amaryllis bulbs for forcing indoors
