Growing Nemesia

Growing Nemesia

Pronunciation: neh-mee'see-uh

This genus contains dozens of species, the best of which are used as annual bedding plants whose insistence on blooming is a very endearing trait. We offer one species, Nemesia fruticans, that is compact and seldom taller than 12in, so they work well as bedding plants and in containers. Give them full sun and grow in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter, such as compost or peat moss. Perennials in Zones 9-10.
