Growing Schizophragma

Growing Schizophragma

Pronunciation: skits'oh-frag-muh

Two species of attractive woody climbers comprise this genus from China, Korea, and Japan. Their simple leaves, about 6″ long, are the foil for showy flower heads that resemble those of Lacecap Hydrangeas.

Grow in average to moist, well-drained soil and provide support until established. Plants will thrive in full sun or partial shade locations.
