Growing Enkianthus

Pronunciation: en-kee-an'-thus

Plant in full sun or partial shade. Enkianthus blooms on the previous year's growth, so in late winter or early spring prune only to remove dead or broken stems. Prefers moist, humus-rich, acid to neutral soil. Mature size will be smaller in colder zones.
