Growing Chamomile

Chamomile has calmed and comforted for centuries, its aromatic flavor making a restorative tea to calm nerves and settle the stomach. German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is an easy-to-grow annual. Plants thrive in full sun and average, well-drained soil. Harvest the daisy-like blossoms every few days when the flowers are fully open and air-dry them in a single layer until completely dry.
