I bougth it ay HD I have it for 2 months now but my Question to you is should i cut back on the bottom leafs and the one that have brown aroud the leafs not much but it bothers me i dont want the other laefs doing the same and if I do were excatlie do cut the leaf at. P.S Happy Thanksgive

Hi Ricardo,

As I explained previously, it is quite common for some brown edges to develop on Calatheas if the light, humidity and watering are less than perfect. Perfection is something that is achievable in a greenhouse, but not a home, so accept the fact that the lower leaves will always have some brown edges. You can trim off the brown edges with sharp scissors to make the plant look nicer, but trimming will not have any affect on the other leaves. This is not a contagious disease. It is about providing proper light, water and humidity.
