Question

t   I think this pinguicla is a Pinguicula moranensis var. caudata.

I got it form a green house there were some that had P.Rosea on it and some had P.caudata.

They looked the same and I don't think that P. rosa is even a real cultivor.

I looked on cp photo finder too, I think it is a P.caudata.

Hi Jake,

This very well could be P. moranensis var. caudata, but there are many other Mexican Pinguicula that look just like this.  Light exposure can affect leaf appearance greatly.  You would need to wait until you get a flower to be more sure of the ID.  This website could be helpful also:  http://www.pinguicula.org/pages/pages_principales/pictures.htm
