Hi Mike,
I'm sick of winter and I'm itching to start my seedlings indoors again.

Could you tell me when my last frost date is scheduled for, so I can calculate the perfect germination time for each type of vegetable I'll be planting?  

I live on the south shore of Long Island.

Michelle, the last frost date for your area is approximately April 20th.  Attached is a chart that will give the exact time for your area.  I always play safe and wait at least one or two additional weeks for sensitive plants.  Click on the map to enlarge it.

In regard to planting times, attached is a chart that will give you specific times for every vegetable.  Just base the calculation on the last expected frost date for Long Island.
