Zinnia Profusion Series

(Zinnia Profusion Series) ZIN-ee-ah Genus:  Zinnia

The needlelike leaves of these Profusion Series zinnas lend a soft textural feel that contrasts nicely with the glowing hot colors of the flowers. The vibrant flowers are about 2 inches in diameter, and the plants grow to just 12 to 15 inches tall and wide. Noteworthy Characteristics: 

Tolerates heat, humidity, and drought. The plants are resistant to powdery mildew.

Care: 

Provide full sun and moist but well-drained soil.

Propagation: 

Sow seed in situ in late spring or start seed indoors at 55-64°F in early spring.

Problems: 

Caterpillars, mealybugs, spider mites.
