what kind of poison was used

Question
my next door neighbor started killing the ivy on a boundry line fence about 6 months before she began remodeling her house .  She has spent the last 2 years remodeling her house and while the construction was going on the ivy stopped dyeing. Now that the construction is done my ivy is dyeing again.  I have pictures of the Ivy in every stage of death, I have smaples of rhe ivy in every stage of death, and I suspect that she used round up to kill it withl.  I also noticed that after i would water my ivy it would start dyeing. also a neighbor said that she had asked him to get rid of the ivy for her and she would pay him but he diclined.  she also told me that she was going to remove the ivy and i said no since it is my fence i offered to have it trimmed but she went ahead and killed it. How do i find out exactly what poison she used. Also just in the past 2 days another section of Ivy has started to die and this ivy has been on this fence for at least 25 years.  The Ivy doen not die all at once just some of it then a few days later the rest goes and there is nothing left except some very hard brown leaves and dry vines. I wanat to know how i find out what kind of poison she used.  I suspect round up but am not sure, how can i find out.

Answer
Hi Sandra,

It sounds very much like your neighbor used the herbicide glyphosate (RoundUp) to kill your ivy.

Would you be able to email some pictures so that I can give a more accurate diagnosis.

Also at what time of the year did the ivy die?
