My son was transplanting a 3' and while digging it up broke the plant off above the roots. Can I re-root it in water?

Hi Ina,
Thanx for your question. No, water won't do for rerooting the BOP. How much of the roots were broken off? These guys are usually tough customers and can survive some root damage. If only half of the roots were broken off, the plant should survive. Let me know.
