Question
I have a small grove of aspens that I love but I don't want any more than I have.  I am getting so many sprouts coming up that I am having trouble keeping them under control. Is there a way to stop or at least slow down their popping up all over.

Hi Linda,
Thanx for your question.  I don't mean to sound flip but the only thing I can think of is just mow them down with the lawn mower.  If you try to individually destroy them with Roundup or something like that, you will harm the trees you want to keep because I reckon these are all "suckers" that come from the roots of the main plants.  I guess you could weed whip them too.  I hope this helps.
