Does the Autumn Blaze Maple tree produce pollen?  I know that the Red Sunset and October Glory maple trees produce seeds but not pollen, because they are female cultivors.  However, I read at this web site, http://www.entomology.wisc.edu/emeraldashborer/Alternatives%20to%20Ash%20for%20P... that the
Acer ?freemanii ʻJeffersredʼ (Autumn Blaze? is a male cultivor and does not produce seeds.  However, does it produce pollen?  I read someplace else that the Autumn Blaze Hybrid does not produce flowers.  Is that true or does it just lack the female parts of the flowers, meaning the male flowers still produce pollen?  I'm allergic to maple tree pollen, which is why I am asking this.
