indoor pond/waterfall

Question
George,
We have built an amazing 7,000 sq ft house with a beautiful entryway. I would like to put a water feature in the entry way (the floor is marble). I have looked and looked, but can't quite find what I am looking for. I would like NOISE from the water and lots of plants around. Fish would be wonderful as well, but the company that poured our foundation forgot to put the drain in the floor so we have a problem with draining it. It is by the front door and could use a hose if needed. I love the whole Japanese look and would like to go in that direction. Can you help?
Thanks for your time. Kim

Answer
Hi,
You could build a pond into the entrance way with a waterfall and use a submersable pump to circulate the water which if the pump was also fitted up with another hose to pump to waste you could change a little water every week so keeping the water nice and fresh, you would have to have a hose from your water supply to do this though, then you would have to hide somehow all the hoses, not knowing exactly your entrance it is a little difficult.
You can visit my Japanese garden and pond to give you some ideas at http://koi-z-are-us.20m.com
George.
