My repotted African Violet

Question
My beautiful African Violet divided itself into 2 plants. I carefully separated it and repotted each plant into 2 new pots. That was 6 weeks ago and these plants still look "traumatized". The leaves are droopy. What can I do to bring them back as beautiful as they were before I repotted them?
Thank you,
Marilyn

Answer
Marilyn,
Wish I could give you a more positive answer, but many older violets often form two plants, and I've tried to divide them with no luck.  I don't think I've ever had luck with this, and I was very careful and used a sterile knife.

I'd like to refer you to the American African Violet Society.  They are the "go to" people for any question, easy or hard.  Visit them at avsa.org.  They take questions, give advice, etc. and for FREE.

Good luck.
