My bougainvillea and lantana are growing wildly.  I would like to trim them and use the cutting for more plants.  What is the preferred method for propagation of these plants?

Hi Bonnie, both can be propagated from firm tip cuttings, place them in a container with damp sand with a tray under it with water in it; in about 6 weeks you will have rooted specimens to transplant. Dip the cuttings in a rooting hormone prior to placing them in the damp sand, this will expedite the process. Nick
