Question
I have a Mexican Palm that is about 10 years old.  It went through Hurricane Ike in September.  We got about 6 feet of water and it is not producing any green frongs at all how do I know if it is dead?

Hi Dayna, check the center "spear", is it green or brown? if it is brown, then your worse fears are true, it is kaput; if it is green however, you will need to give it time to either unravel or turn brown, patience is plan of the day right now, time will tell. Nick
