i had some freeze damage to my white bird of paradise. How should i cut it back? what to do???

Hi Lydia, you should be seeing new, healthy growth by now, so its fine to begin cutting away the freeze damaged leaves and spent blooms; start at the bottom, and cut the entire stem with the dead growth on it, don't worry about taking too much off, BOP's are very resilient and will send out new growth from the soil level.
