Hi Nick i have had a Massangeana Cane for about a year now and its has really growed I was thinking about repotting it its in a 12 inch pot right now i got a 15 1/2 pot can i use it and i was going to put gravels in the bottom of it then i was going to use
Miracle Grow moisture control plus miracle gorw castus plam citus soil, Was planning on useing the brown pot in pic. So can you plz help.
AnswerHi Helen, that container will do just fine, canes actually grow well when cramped, and 2 inches of gravel in the bottom is fine also; be sure to keep it misted to deter spider mites and water when the drainage holes start to dry up. Any good grade potting mix will do for these, so don't spend extra money on Miracle-Grow mix, it isn't necessary. Nick
