Im sorry, I thought you were a professional

Question
I wrote you about weeping willows.  My mistake.  After realizing that I put "com" on the end of my e-mail address instead of "net",  I wrote you again explaining this fact.  Obviously you can't read, maybe you have been in the sun too long !!!!   There is no such address as comcast.com  so I did not get your answer, I only got your smart-ass reply that you had already answered.  You should not deal with the public!!  I will be requesting that you be removed from this website.

Answer
Here is the answer I put on the first question. The second was marked as  a duplicate to me so I responded as such.
I do not see the e-mail addresses just the questions. Sorry that caused any confusion.

It is not necessarily the time of the watering but the amount. A tree under stress need about ten gallons per diameter of tree trunk. A 2 inch tree will need 20 gal. Willows need more than other trees since they normally grow in wetter conditions. I would water them every other day until it rains regular. You can buy a water probe and stick this in the ground next to the tree and water deep this way. The instructions that come with it will give directions on the water amount and timing to get that amount. Or you can calibrate the hose or sprinkler and use it until you have put out the ten gal per inch of diameter needed. Take a empty milk jug and time how long it takes to fill it. This is 1 gal then run the hose until you have put out the right amount.
We have had the same drought problem here in Ala. and watering this ay will work for small trees but when the diameter gets to 10 inch and up the amount of water is too much to put out.
