Crab Apple Trees

Question
Hi,
I have a Crab Apple Tree that appears to be very healthy, it produces a lot of apples by the end of the season. However, all these apples pile up on my yard and make a big mess when I mow or just try and play with my son in my yard. I try to pick them all up but I have a hard time keeping up with the amount of apples it drops. I like the shelter the tree provides but I don't like the all the apples in my yard. So, my question is, is there a way I can keep the tree but reduce the amount of apples it produces.

Thank You for your time.

Danny

Answer
Florel Fruit Eliminator will reduce or eliminate undesirable fruit on many trees. Look at:

I would think that if you sprayed some of the flowers that the fruit production would be greatly reduced. Spraying all the flowers will stop the fruit production for that year.
