Identification of an oak species

Question
I am trying to figure out what type of oak tree this is.
The cap is very bristly, reminiscent of a bur oak although not as deep, and the entire cap is full of bristles.
The acorn is just a standard looking brown acorn when separated from the cap.
The leaves are not lobed, and are bigger than the leaves of a willow oak.
I live in Atlanta, Georgia, to give you an idea of the climate.
Is that enough information to identify it?

Answer
Some oak acorns and leaves vary in shapes. These is not enough information to ID this oak. If you could send a picture of the acorn and the leaves this would help greatly. You can send these to [email protected]

A better way would be call the local office of the Ga. Forestry commission and ask one of their Foresters.
They have offices in each county. Here is the web link to the county contact information or you can look in the local phone book.
