I read your question and answer regarding the Blue Spruce roots damaging a pool. I have the same issue, but wondered about the Austrian Pine root system and whether it will damage our pool? Our inground pool is also steel and concrete. Thanks, and I will look forward to your response.

Did not say how close the pine is to the pool. But in general tree roots seek water and if there is a leak then the poll could be damaged but with the cement and steel the root system will turn when it gets to the barrier and not be a problem with the structure. I can not see under normal conditions where it will be a problem.
