Question
I have a curly willow that I have rooted from a branch.  Is it possible to keep it as a patio potted plant?

Really too large to grow in a pot for a length of time--at maturity they have a spread width of 15 feet and height of 30 feet. You can grow the cutting in a pot for a couple of years but when they get too large for the pot they will need to be transplanted to the yard.
