dwarf flowering dogwood tree

Question
I live in Connecticut and I am having difficulty finding a white dwarf dogwood tree. I had one but it died. It was here already when I bought the house that was built in the 1950's. It grew to about 7-10 ft. tall and had white blossums every year. I would appreciate your help. Thankyou

Answer
I would try your local tree nursery and ask them to order one for you if they do not have it. Here is a nursery in Conn. that advertises that they have dogwood trees. Might try calling them --do not know how far they are from you but they can ship. I do not know anything about them but what was on the net. http://www.twomblynursery.com/index.asp

There is a couple of dwarf dogwoods. (Cornus florida Little Princess and (Cornus cadensis)
a.k.a. bunchberry, pigeon berry

Here is a web link to information on it and another to a site that sells both. I would check with your local nursery and see if they had them or could get them for you.
