Tea Olive Tree/Bush

Question
Mr Clark,
Thank you for you time to read my email. Im trying to find information on a Tea Olive. Im not for sure if its a bush/tree/shrub. My daughter and I are severaly allergice to the fragrance. Im trying to find out if and when it can be transplated. And how it needs to be done. Also if it needs to be trimmed and to what size. We live in Middle Georgia. If you can please help, it would be gratefully appeciated.

Thanks
Kamala Davis

Answer
Hi Kamala
most olive species are of the tree type, they need frost free climate but cool winters to induce flowering. summers
must be long and hot for fruit set. soil must be well drained loamy type which retain moisture when fruits are developing. hope this helps  Good Luck  Larry  ;-)
