pittosporm bush dying

Question
I live in Texas and for the past 2 months it has been at 100 degrees everyday. My bush had been doing fine and just lately the leaves have been wilting. It's about 8 months old. I have watered it daily but it seems to just be getting worse. I keep the water on it for about 30 min. Can you please help me to figure out if I can save it from dying ? Thanks

Answer
Debbie,
Increase your watering to 1 hour per day while the hot weather persists. Make sure that you are using a soaker hose or garden hose on a trickle placed at the abase. Use a granular low nitrogen fertilizer to help strengthen the plant.
Good luck.
