What is the best way to get rid of shrubs?  And when would be the best time to do it?  Thanks...Sam

There are two ways of getting rid of them- pull them out by the roots using a pick up truck or spraying them with a non-selective herbicide such as Round-Up and digging them out once they are dead. The choice is yours. This is only if you choose not to replant them, if you do choose to replant, then dig out as much of the root system as possible and transport them to their new location quickly before the roots die off.
