Why is my photina red robin losing its new red leaves?Their is no sign of pests.

If there is no sign of any scale or aphids, then I must come to the conclusion that the defoliation is due to cultural problems. Check the soil around the plants to see if water is puddling up, Photinia does not like a lot of water.

I would recommend fertilizing the plants to help strengthen them and if there is a problem with too much water, take steps to improve the soil condtions.
