I am located in Gaithersburg, MD 20882. I am looking for options to consider for a Privacy Living Wall on 2 sides of property. The lot is .38 acre. I want to be as high as 8 to 12  feet. No pointy leaves. Year round privacy 4' about diameter. and root system that will not be bad for septic area. also do you have directions for building a living fence

For the privacy wall, I would recommend using any of the following:
Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis negra), Canadian Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) or Cedars (Cedrus deodara).

I am not sure what you mean by a "living fence". But I think that the following website will help with this:
