windbreak

Question
I need to plant two windbreaks.  One will run directly alongside an established asphalt driveway and will sit between my home and a neighbors.  The most narrow point between the two properties is approximately 2 feet.  I would like to plant something that will grow to about 15 feet.  Can you recommend anything that might slow wind w/o causing root damage to the drive or impeding on the neighbors land?

I also need to plant a much higher break across the street in an area running directly parallel with an electric pasture fence.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Answer
E,

To be honest, 2 feet is not a lot of space for the plants, but, I think that you would be able to get away with some espaliered pyrocantha as a windbreak between the drive way and the neighbors land.

Across the street, you could plant Arborvitae, Hemlock, Cedars or White Pines.

Good luck,
